Shove a paper clip into the harness of the EGR temp sensor, gets rid of the code. tongue.gif

It's either caused by:
EGR temperature sensor
EGR valve
EGR modulator
EGR solenoid

Have to test them all individually to find the cause of the malfunction.

I used to have an EGR code too. I ended up fixing it by noticing a hose was disconnected under the hood. I think the previous owner must have taken off one the EGR system hoses.

The way the code triggers is once it's up to temp and hits 55+ mph, if things aren't right it stores the code temporarily. The next time you drive and hit 55+ if the problem still exists it throws the code and triggers the light. The only thing that'll cause the EGR code are the things I mentioned in my first post.
