So I can get a trd quickshifter does the shifter fit in a 99 it says its for 94
-96 and if not why?

I've heard a TRD unit is very nice but unless you expressly want that, I'd recommend an ebay 7th gen Celica short shifter instead, ~$40.

Yes you can get one but good luck finding one. And if you do, its gunna cost A LOT
It will forsure fit any LHD celica from 94-99 (not sure about rhd)

if i recall correctly, the only difference in the RHD shifter is that the shifter is straight, and the LHD has a slight bend that puts the knob a little closer to the driver.
