With Silver Ring:

Without silver Ring:

Perrin Shorty Antenna Conversion:

parts:

7th gen celica manual antenna (pole sub-assembly): P/N: 86309-20300
Perrin Shorty Antenna 2"- Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8: P/N: PEP-BDY-105

Optional:
6th gen celica manual antenna ornament: P/N: 86392-20180
"You will need to file to fit" Do at your own risk

All you need to do is bend the bracket on the 7th gen pole sub assembly to match up with the mounting hole.
As well as replace the 7th gen top antenna surround with the 6th gen top antenna surround on the pole sub assembly...

7th gen top antenna surround looks like this: You will take this off of the 7th gen pole sub assembly

Takes about 25-30 minutes with the regular "silver ring ornament"

Or take it a step further to get rid of the silver ring and use the 6th gen manual antenna ornament:

About 45-60 minutes for modified 6gc manual antenna ornament

I referenced the thread in the link below, and an MR2 thread for the most part….. Very similar less parts needed

Looks nice! I find using the 7th gen antenna assembly for this or the S2000 antenna is much better than just gluing it. Did you have to make a drain hose like with the S2000 antenna?

Hmmm…. I didn't… I just unplugged my drain hose from the power antenna and is not attached to anything….

How did u make the drain hose fit with the 7th gen assembly ?
