Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself here. New owner here. Had someone wreck the front end of their celica with no frame damage but didn't have full coverage and they wanted to get rid of it as it was just their second car... so i took on the project :-P

1. It needs a new front end. there are no ifs ands or buts about that so I was looking through options and decided to try and replicate mmmchocolates front end. It's beautiful so mad props.

Does anyone know that front bumper / lip kit? I mean the GT4 bumper looks different cause of the fog lights than that... and I really like that.

2. the engine appears to be fine, it's just auto frown.gif which is no fun for me. Long term : maybe a turbo mr2 motor from a newer year would work...

3. Some of the interior parts are just crappy so i'll probably take the time to reupholster those myself.

Look forward to interacting with you smile.gif

And if ya'll have anything for sale that looks nice - let me know. Kouki tail lights are the way to go? That's what it seems like around these boards. Some peopel are using Neon projector lights in place of stock projectors cause of price?

That's actually marco's car.

It's a GT4 bumper with a lip, although I can't remember which lip it is. He mentions it in his first post in that thread. Skip the MR2 engine- it's the same as a Celica engine but with different accessories and wiring, meaning it takes extra money and work when the Celica 3S-GTE is ready to go.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but a 3S-GTE from a celica is not going to be smog certified, since they never sold them in a Celica. I will eventually be doing the swap as well, and I need to put the 3S-GTE into a 1995 or 1994 car to pass under the ODBII rule and just have to pass the exhaust test. There is a set of keoki headlights on ebay right now with a bid of $300 and shipping of $107 for highs and lows.
