My car i thought was burning oil, i have no clue now, after wating for most of the snow an ice to melt to look under my car, today i jacked it up, and made sure my oil filter an oil pan bolt are tight, just to be sure. and i noticed that there is oil all over the bottom of my engine. Its not coming form esther the filter or bolt, and i cant feel an oil sludge about a few inches of the oil pan. you think it could be my oil pan leaking, well the gasket?? has any one had this problem, an if so how hard or how much was it to fix?? any info would help thanks ..

i had the problem becuase i pulled the pan off and forgot to re gasket it.
easy fix, but i have done it several times. i can jack my car up, drain the oil, drop the pan, clean off the old gasket, re apply the new gasket(7afe uses liquid gasket) and re install it all and pour in new oil in about 1 hour. that includes waiting 15min for the liquid gasket to get tacky for 15min before bolting the pan back on. -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition

He had a custom turbo setup, I'm sure he did so when he either tapped his oil pan or put on the 3sgte one. Not sure, but my guess is good I think lol
