Hi from the UK, i have recently bought an SS-11 Beams engined 6, when i start the engine from cold it idles at 2k until it warms up then it starts to hunt from 1k to 2 k and sometimes from 1750k to 2k all the time. It drives perfect with no issues it is just when i stop at lights ect ect while the engine is idling. I have been told it may be the MAF sensor or the idle control valve in the throttle body? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Richard

Check and clean the ISCV in the throttle body first. It's known for getting gummed up and sticking.
