Am I right to believe that I can not use the stock us mr2 harness for my swap? I found a i think its a 91 mr2 with 80k miles on it for $1800 everything there just smashed in the front, I might be getting it nex week any help would be great.

You can do it but its a lil more difficult.

how about the tranny? would it be cheaper and easier to us my gt trany or the mr2 tranny? by this I mean for the mr2 tran do i just need to buy two diferent axles and the gt tran do i just need to buy a clutch and what clutch?

It would be easier and cheaper yes, but not the BEST solution. I think you can swap bellhousings so that it will mate up with the shiftlinkage and what not, but im not 100% sure. There is a way to modify the MR2 tranny so that it does work, but I am unsure of where that website is.
If you do use the MR2 tranny you'll need hybrid axles. Inner MR2 and outta Alltracs. You will use a 3sgte clutch throughout if u use the MR2 tranny. The GT tranny will require you to use a 5sfe disc with the 3s flywheel and PP -------------------- |
