I'll start off by saying that I know there's technical words to describe the angle of the wheels on the car (positive / negative camber? toe?) I don't know the correct way to use them to describe what's going on so I'll be wording it in a way that makes sense to me and hopefully you can sort it out.
I've got a question here for people who have installed the BC racing BR coilovers. I got my coilovers because the car was riding too low, we get a lot of snow here in British Columbia and the roads can be pretty rough. I raised the coilovers from their previous settings and installed them high enough to actually raise the car about an inch or two. The front coilovers had camber plates which I can use to adjust the camber through and get the wheels aligned properly which is what I want, however, the back coilovers didn't have the camber plates and my two rear wheels have a little bit of that stanced look to them. I want this fixed because personally I don't like the look and I worry it's not good for the car. From what I've heard, when I lower the car in the spring that angle that they're getting that stanced look at is only going to get sharper (make the problem worse). I'm wondering if I can order a camber plate for the rear coils from BC, or some other manufacturer? or if there's a camber bolt or something that someone has had success with for fixing this issue (if other people are experiencing this) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if this doesn't make much sense, first time I've had a car that I've needed to/have adjusted the height on. Thanks |

many members complain about this. to be honest i havent seen any rear adjustable camber plates from any suspension company made for the 6gc. if ya'll don't like it have a company make a group buy. the company called toyota techno tuning makes front camber plates.for st202/st184 celica's the rear shocks from a 6gc and 5gc are the same so perhaps you can persuade them to do so.(they are located in the USA) or contact a local toyota specialist supplier in your country.

Ksport has Rear Camber plates for the Coilovers they offer for our cars.
You can call them and order replacement plates and possibly adapt them to your BC's They will cost around $300 for a pair. I'm going this route with my TEINS and will try and see how they will adapt, each company has little quirks with their Piston shaft but they are usually all 22mm, there may be some little things here and there that may need to be added to adapt the plate but it's do-able I beleive their design for the rear camber plates look to be much better than the older versions I have. I've been digging deeper into this and I've had people suggest trying a camber arm. Has anyone had success using these to fix this issue? If so could you include a link for what you used?
Thanks |

The only options for our cars are bolts or plates. Just order two pairs of camber bolts and you'll be fine. I have one on each of the rear knuckles and it helped correct the camber by about 1.5 degrees. They were almost negative 3 degrees without the bolts.
Also, negative means the wheel is tilting inward, and positive means its tilting outward. |
