I'm looking for a convenient spot to ground a wire. Somewhere near the driver's footwell would be great. Something as easy as grounding to an existing screw would be perfect.

There's a plastic trim panel in the drivers footwell (side next to thedoor "scuff/ kick panel).You can remove the plastic scuff panel and then remove this particular panel which sits just to the side of the fuse box panel.Behind here are a number of wire looms, you'll find a large earth/ground return wire (black)
which is fixed with a screw to the chassis. Try it if you can't find an easier ground point. |
