It will take him a moment to realize that he's about to make a 180 degree turn at speed, but you will be ready for it. Brace for the g's, and fast heel-toe work.

Making the chasis more rigid is definetly going to be the easiest thing to do out of everything on the list, that's why I voted for the 3sgte convertible.

i voted for the awd conv. neverstop got close, so that's worth alot. someone with a bit more $, or resources could just take the next step and complete it. we'll see, the convertable 3s would be pretty cool too.

i voted for Importing a GT4 cause all you need to do that is money... pay for everything to get bought ,shipped, legalized and your on the road no problems.. all the other options take more then just money to acomplish (if your doing it your self)

Making a 110HP, front wheel drive car AWD will just make it slower...

registration will be the last, why do you think dude couldnt sell his car for 14,000. id would have snatched that in a HEARTBEAT if it was legally registered.

im guessing he got it and was like crap, this is impossible

I said AWD conversion. If you have the parts off of a GT-4, and you have a hatch back, all you have to do is install what is needed.

Heh... I accidentally voted AWD, so change mine to Convert 3SGTE. I personally don't believe in messing with the chassi on street cars, also considering most people drive their Celicas on a daily basis. As for the 2JZ/AWD conversions... well, that's been covered and I've voiced my opinion. I personally think the Convertible chassi can handle the extra torque of the 3SGTE even without major structural modifications... even though I'm not a real fan of convertibles. As for legalization of the ST205... will probably not happen is CA or NY... but elsewhere, it would have my vote.

its because it was brought here as a show/race non-registerable car. its completely different bringing a car here for track only, and bringing it here for legalization, its very hard to bring something and have all the paper say "track purposes only" then go get it registered. if you bring it here as street transportation theres different laws involved.

so I guess it'd be totally out of the question if someone were to import a GT4, have it turned into a convertible, get a 2JZ in, AND make it AWD.. eh? biggrin.gif

the gt4 is already AWD... so i doubt they would make it AWD again...

I think that it would be the AWD conversion, if anyone really set out to do it.
