I decided to create a thread on its own, because maybe i can get some guidance. No I dont want "take it to the shop" even my dog can tell me that.

so i ordered a kit

and everything was fine and dandy, going cool!!

until I saw, that there is no space underneath !!! lol.

I cannot, and will not build equal length y pipe, its impossible, unless i delete the crossmember, and find a new way to support engine, and thats more complicated. lol

the rear bank, is almost but not impossible to get the pipe goin.

All this because im Using the headers from Gouky. Now i have the original headers from the highlander, but not sure if would clear the rack, or shifting cables, which this one does...

hate to think, that i have to use a y pipe type method or even a T type. At this time, anything to hook up the exhaust.

Most mandrel bent turns are not coming in a tight radius, and i dont have space. I tried to run two pipes, but there is no space. and if im not careful, ill be scraping the floor.

any ideas or suggestions...

Have a look at how a Toyota Blade Master has it? (They were/are sold in Japan, they are about the size of a Allex/Runx Corolla with the 2GR-FE) since they are fairly small it might give you some ideas?

Don't have room for something OEM like that? Not the best I know but better than nothing.

Fine, ignore my ingenious solution. A picture showing, well, the whole picture would help. You might be able to notch the brace, or if you have to cut through it for the piping you might could extend the bracing out to add back support.

How I did my pipes. The pipe is the lowest point of the car, luckily it also moves on the same plane as the wheels. I have not scratched it yet.

Here is a 4x4 I used to show the amount of clearence. I think on mine I mounted it lower than normal since I made all custom mounts, not having much to start off with.

Can you cut some off the end of the rear header, and wrap it over the top of the axle?

Idk how much vaccuum and water hoses you got, but you might could re-rout/extend those to give you more clearance to run that "loop" over the axle/tranny.

Ill revisit in a few months something better. For now this will have to do

Well... Its done. Tested for leaks. But wont be sure after a few miles of use. Painted silver for that purpose and to protect them welds. High heat paint

Tacked

All finished and waiting to be installed...
