I have a 94 Celica GT and I was doing all around struts because backs were blown out something fierce.

Got to the front pulled the strut and got the spring off and noticed it did not appear to be cartridge type like I was led to believe.

(When I purchased it came with two front cartridges and two direct replace backs)

Some I'm just wondering if anyone knows of my years having solid front struts and where I can actually buy a cartridge type assembly so that eventually I won't have wasted money on two front strut cartridges...

Thanks!

The sport package had the rebuildable front struts but I don't understand what was supposed to be better about them.

When I replaced mine I bought the KYBs that were all one piece, they were only $10 more.

Can you take the cartridges back?

If you really want to use them I still have the lower part they fit into.

Sadly I can't take just the front back as it was an eBay purchase for all four.

Plus my front aren't completely worn (front returned a bit slow but at a solid pace when compressed)

If you have the front assemblies for cartridge type look into cost of shipping to Owensville, MO and get back to me. biggrin.gif

Thanks for the reply!

Sure thing.

I'd be happy to get them out of my shop.

What is your zip?
