Okay well I have a 94 celica gt and basically there is no decent rotors to buy for it.. I had same issue with my 95 than I got raybestos rears for 4.88$ off Amazon shipped (I got lucky) than ordered r1 concept slotted rotors for 200$... I don't really want to go r1 concepts again.. so for laughs I was on rockauto and looked up 97 celica rear rotor and the selection is much better... I can get centric slotted (stop tech) for the 97 but not the 94. So can I use 97 rotors on my 94?

Well all I could find was 94-95 have 10 mm thick rotor 96+ have 9mm rotor. I ordered stop tech rotors via Amazon 20$ each for rear right now so I hope they work haha. I did cross reference caliper numbers and they are the same so I think they'd work unless someone chimes in and ruins my hopes lol. Only had one left of each side for 19.88$ shipped so I got em both. Also got lucky and got one front rotor for 23$.. downfall is the final rotor is gonna cost me 65$ full retail... I just bought 3 for that price haha. Guess you can't get lucky 4x in a row.

As far as part numbers go they are different.

94- 42431-20320
97- 42431-20360

Yeah I seen that as well I'm assuming it's because ones 10 mm and ones 9mm thick. The caliper is same part number tho. They went to 9mm to save weight. Just hoping I'm correct and they work haha.

I was just looking at this the other day and the minimum spec when you turn it is also 9mm. So you pretty much have to buy new ones each time

I ordered slotted rotors. Most decent slotted rotors you change them whenever the slots vanish from wear and tear. I'll get my new rotors in a few days and I'll probably put em on in a few months. Not.gonna drive my celica in the snow so no point of changing them until summer time. I'll drive the camry for now.
