I have quite a few chips in my paint especially in the front around the liscense plate. I plan to buy my touch up paint from the toyota dealership and i would appreciate if anyone can tell me the best way to apply the paint so it blends perfectly. Also if anyone has done this can you tell afterwards that you used the paint?? Thanks

i ordered a thing of touch-up paint online... it will never match perfect, you have to remember... your cars been sitting in the sun for 8 years.... that fades the paint a bit.... so its going to be different shades... as far as applying it, use thin coats brushing in one direction... if you can get a spray kind, it'll blend a little easier....

Well, if you have the stock paint color, just go to an auto store. I picked up a bottle of Toyota Super Red at Checker Auto, and it matches perfect.
