I just bought my 2nd 6GC.

I'm ****ting bricks, as my Convertible doesn't have a VIN.
I've spoken to the owner and he didn't know as he didn't register it and kept in yard (oh it was sooo dusty)...sorta sketchy about him now...

Anyway, I heard that the VIN plate [on the dash] can be replaced but you have to prove the title (which I have) matches the VIN of the car.

Any other locations for the VIN
It's a 1998 GT (Manual) Convertible.

Would appreciate the help.

stamped in the metal firewall under the hood.. also on the door pillar tag, under the door. and in a sticker in every metal panel, hood, trunk, fenders...
