Zip ties are awesome when doing mods like this. I had 2 15" blue lights under my dash where ther pedals are and on the opposite side. They held strong forever until i let my friend drove my car one time and when he got in his toes caught the bulb and broke the zip tie, but the light was fine. On ebay you can find some lights that are ultra slim and will fit up in places alot better.

i was thinkin of putting some red neons behind my front seats....how do u power those things??

i looked at some at advance auto for like $19.99 and they had batteries in them, but the guy that worked there said they suck..no power...they look like those glow sticks you break to light

i have blue 10 in. neons in both door pockets, they give the bottom panel a nice *glow* bc u can't directly see the actual neon. i also have 10" blacklights underneath the front seats (toward the back) and underneath the glovebox (all hidden so all u see is the glow). my floormats are clear and when they soak up the UV rays from the blacklights, they glow blue. i chose this method over using blue neons (like the door pockets) because unlike the neons which light up the whole area, the blacklights only light up the floormat which gives it a cleaner, more defined look. Also peoples shoe laces glow as well as a lady's toe nail polish wink.gif

P.S. - all of them are powered through the cigarette lighter wire. i bypassed the actual socket so that it is free for whatever dc plug u wanna use, and i have a switch underneath by the steering column which turns all the blacklights on/off. see the red switch below? well that controls the tv, lol, but i've added another switch right underneath it which controls my interior lights. i didnt have to do any drilling. if u notice, ur celica has this slot in the same position, which probably has a tab over it. it comes out and is a nice spot for me to put the switch. ok im rambling so ill stop, lol.

OK this might sound like RICE or as I'm cheap but hey it worked great and costs next to nothing... I took red trailer marker lights and zip tied em up under my dash,, they give off just enough light to light up your feet without being overly strong, I have been in too many cars that I have found the neon too bright so I went with the marker lights. Then I took a couple more and put them in the rear speaker houseing.. was going to put them behind the speaker (clear blue speakers) but due to time constraints after i got that far they went on the out side..(inside the grill though)

I have had many comments on how they are not too bright, and asked where did you get your neons I like the brightness of them..

i have two 10" blue neons under my middle console so it shines pretty cool and looks different than putting them under the dash. smile.gif
