Hello, I have a 1998 Toyota Celica GT 2.2L and I can't seem to figure out whats broken. Before something broke the car would shift later than normal and harsher. We clearer a fault code for Shift Solenoid E. I think thats what make it broke. Now when we start it and put it in any gear its a loud grinding noise, you can also push it in park. Looking for help...

Most likely the transmission, the diffs hardly ever go wrong. The fact that you can push it means that either the transmission brake broke, or more likely a whole lot more. Time to look for a replacement trans.
