Ok....sooo....I know it's a bit late for me to start it but might as well do it now. Lol. I bought my 1997 Toyota Celica GT for $4,500 on February 27, 2012. It had 175,000 miles on the cluster. It was in very good condition. The only problem I had on it was it had a CEL light on. Which was just the speed sensor in the cluster not working. Replaced that and the CEL was cleared. Also my car didn't pass emissions test but I eventually had that fixed after running on premium and Lucas Cleaner. Overall I was more than happy to pay the overpriced $4500.
Winner of May 2014 COTM "This car is not about racing, this car is not about power; performance, it's purely about being cool." Previous Owner: http://www.6gc.net/members/9609 Very ricey and not my flavor. Here's a link to my FB album of my car. It has all of my pics of my silly97. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2...0238&type=3 Here some things my car had on when I first bought it: Bone stock performance 7GC GTS Rims AG Lowering Springs JDM Tail lights Stock side skirts 2post spoiler Rear tinted windows Window stickers Here's what I've done to it so far: Performance Injen Short Ram Intake Suspension Megan Coilovers Ichiba Spacers 15mm and extended lug studs all around Eibach Camber Bolt Fender Rolled All Around Exterior 3k Hi halogen bulb 8k Lo HiD conversion 3k halogen fog light bulb Amber turn signal bulb Clear side lights TRD Roof Spoiler REPLICA(Hi-C) OEM SSIII front grill Tom's Front Lip REPLICA(Zonz540) Enkei RPF1 17x8 +45Front +35Rear Nankang NS1 205/40/17 Interior TRD Shift Boot SpreeLED White Gauge Lights GT4 Rear Strut Bar I do have a set of GT4 splitters that are waiting to be painted. The rest of my plans for my car is to get it repainted and installed with the gt4 splitters. I want to go wit the Supra Limited Edition Silver code 1B9. I also want to get a custom exhaust. I really want the JDM projectors also. We will see what else will be added onto my list as days goes by. Lol. Also I'm planning to keep my silly FOREVER!!! Looks good. Make sure those white seams don't have a texture to it, or it'll show through the paint.

Use the primer and the adhesion promoter on top of it.

Use the primer and the adhesion promoter on top of it. Adhesion promoter then primer then colour then gloss. Sounds good? -------------------- |

Here it is. Finished painting it! Still waiting a couple days for the paint to cure so I can sand it, rub it, polish it, and wax it.

Mine has aftermarket paint and the previous owner didn't let me know what color my was but I made a guess that it was quicksilver and indeed it was. Perfect match. Lol. Here it is. Once I put the splits on and your car dropped, then our cars well be identical. Would be funny if we both get projectors at the same time In the future too. Haha. -------------------- |

I wouldn't mind having a 5sfte but then again. It's Cali. Lol. Sorry for the late update. Been busy working. But here's how the trd rear splits turned out. Didn't fit perfect for some reason and I broke off the rivets on the right side brace while installing it. -------------------- |

Fiiinally You had yours painted a while before I got mine, but I've been driving around with mine fitted for a couple of weeks now Its a shame that the color match wasn't perfect... But they still look good:) definitely needed on there to go with all that low and your front and skirts. So now the race for the projectors are on Mine should be arriving in a week or two... But I won't be able to put them on until after exams finish mid-June... So you still have time -------------------- SOLD :( 1997 ST204 Celica ZR -----> See it here on 6GC! 2013 October Celica of the Month XD Now: '00 NB8B Mazda MX5 -----> See it here in off topic! |

Im trying to get my hands on projectors too. Just looking around for a decent price. I'm not really looking forward to that hassle of removing the front bumper along with my front lip. Pain in the ass. Lol. -------------------- |
