here is what I wrote on another board, any help would be great.

Ok, so I totalled my car way back when. End of August the car was started, ran a few minutes, unhooked and pulled out of a car. There was no time to do anything to help the engine, although perhaps I should have drained the oil, thats right, oil still in the engine. The engine should have been put in a garage but my parents got lazy and put it on a piece of wood in the back yard and covered it with a tarp. This is in Maine, so it snowed all winter and was in like -10 degree weather and ****, probably insulated some under the snow and such. To my knowledge its completely dry. Its a 5SFE from a Celica. Would this engine run with minimal TLC like new oil, maybe clean out the fuel rail, injectors, new plugs and stuff.

What do you guys think?

i would think it would be ok, i personally wouldn't trust it. you might want to just disassemble everything and take it to a machine shop and have them do some tests. that is, unless you notice some cracks or something first. i definately wouldn't just through it in a car to find out, but i could be wrong on this one.
