Is this low? It seems like it shakes a little bit like its too low, also the oil light flickers at this rpms but once i get to about 700 it stops, my friend told me to just increase the idle to about 700 and it will be fine.
also if im letting the car sit there for a while, sometimes it sounds like it revs on its own, like it will be all quit and then get louder for about 30 seconds or something, this also happened on my neon however so im inclined to think that its normal. also can anyone tell me how to increase the idle? thanks ![]() |

what i found out is that when it sounds louder its actually my fans turning on for a few seconds.
You have to advance the timing on your timing belt. |

You might try resetting the idle on your car. Namely removeing the negative terminal on your battery for a minute or two and letting the whole system discharge. You could also have a vacuum leak.
