I did a rear disc conversion. everything works fine except my parking brake. Do I need new parking brake pads? or what? Any help would be beneficial.

On the stock rear disk brakes, there are small drum brakes for just the parking brake. dunno if that helps any...

You might want to adjust the tension in the parking break cable. You just need to pry off that little divider where the shifter is and everything and there is a nut you tighten to increase the tension. If that doesnt work then it probably is those pesky brake pads in the small drum in the back.

I did adjust the tension in the inside of the car. I am still using the Parking brake cable from my ST. It is a little longer thatn the GT's... thniking maybe I need to put some spacers or something on the cable to shorten it.. Anyone think that it might work??

you can also adjust them right at the wheel, theres a little spoked thing you turn and it make the two pads go out or in, its at the bottom of the two pads.
