Does anyone know of a camber kit for our cars?

correction you will need the camber bolts if you do a 1.5 drop. i used the eibachs springs with kyb and i needed a camber bolt to correct the camber one the tires.

they can be found on ebay (where i got mine) or you can go to nopi.com there store will have bolts for you.

if you needed them, your car has been hit, or somthing is wrong in your suspension. a camber kit IS NOT needed for our cars if you drop less than 1.5"

well i need one b/c im looking to do a 2" drop. but thanks for the help. and i JUST bought new tires so i dont want to wear them out unevenly, you know what i mean?

"Needing" them or not depends on how much camber you want. I would suggest about 1.5deg for a normal 'performance' street car.

The bolts can also be found at your friendly toyota dealership, but they call them 'crash bolts' or something similar. They're not too expensive and I would expect the toyota ones to be higher quality than the nopi or ebay ones. Its not a part you want to fail.

john, whats the stock amount on our cars?..how do we go about getting the 1.5 degrees all around? is that somthing that they can and will do at an alignment shop?

I'm on full drop with GC's and i don't need one. Been riding almost 2 years on it.

Stock is probably almost zero or maybe just slightly negative. Any alignment shop that will let you specify your settings will do it. Just talk to some autocrossers in your area. They generally have a really good idea of what shops are good and which aren't. You can for sure get 1.5deg with the crash bolts but short of having camber plates made, thats about it. I run with about 2deg all around all year and don't have excessive tire wear. It should be fine, just make sure you have zero toe.

Only for fender clearance issues. These things do not affect your alignment at all.

You can get crash bolts at Toyota for less. I did my fronts for $12, and that included new nuts. I run 2.5 degrees of negative in the front, and as little negative in the rear as I can get... I think it is -0.6 at the moment. I am pretty sure you can get close to 3 degrees with two 3 dot bolts.

Regardless of where you get the bolts, I recommend getting new nuts as well. I would also torque the heck out of them to make sure they don't slip on you. For me, they are cheap enough that I just replace the things when i want to change alignment settings. Like SpeedToe said, not a part I want to fail.

related question. what size are the two bolts that attach the strut to the steering knuckle? and how about the crash bolts?
