i have a 1997 celica gt. im thinking an injen intake and a Greddy SP Cat-Back Exhaust System.

first off how much horse will i get with just the intake . anyone dyno after the intake. same thing for the exhaust

second if i install the intake will i have any problems such as engine light on or the car not running well/ taking advantage of the new intake... same thing for the exhaust

and finnaly what kind of sound would the exhaust give me.. would it be a cheap weed wacker sound or a lower quieter tone then most intakes.... thanks

uhm, don't expect much performance from the intake- I "think" I feel it above 70- going from 70-110 is DEFINETLY quicker (timed it, even with error it's still a difference

No problems with engine light or car not running well.

Personally, I like the sound of the injen intake- but some people just think it's loud and annoying. It's not really weed whacker, a lot deeper than that- but still some weed wacker smile.gif

i havnt heard anything bad about the greddy sp exhuast, but dont get the injen intake. its a wast of money. you can purchase a short ram intake from 95celgt off this site. He only chrages 100 dollars, where as the injen one is 200. He also makes CAI for the gt for 145 dollers or something like that. I've only heard good things about his intakes. Hopefully my cold air intake from him will be coming soon...
by the way you will get better performance from a cold air and see a bigger diffrence then you would from a short ram.

Werd get a ram air intake that actually draws are from outside of the car, instaed of sitting right beside the block.

The CAI i'm making, you won't be cutting anything, you might have to move something a couple inches, but more than likely, we'll be able to figure something out.
