I saw that in the engine bay there is a relay box and in it are 2 open places for 2 relays. One is for the Abs Motor and the other is for the Abs Solenoid, at least i think so they sayABS SOL and ABS MTR, so thats what i figured they meant. I was wondering if there is a motor that you can get for abs because there have been times where i wished i had abs.

Installing ABS into a car without it is not cost-effective, and can be potentially dangerous if the system is not installed properly, imo. You need to essentially swap the complete braking system from the donor car to your car.
I suppose it could be done, but I have never seen anyone actually do it. Heh, just found a link to an ABS installation. It's a Miata, but should still give you some idea of the time and complexity. http://www.miata.net/garage/abs/abs.htm |

i remember reading an article about how BMW didnt install abs on one of there sports cars because people tend to think there brakes are not working when they first stomp on there brakes, so they end up lifting there foot off and reapplying the brakes. this renders the abs useless.

i have abs. i can really say that it saved my but one time. i was taking an off ramp that i never took before and didnt know that the turn was going to be so sharp, i slamed on the brakes and abs kicked in and helped the car not loose traction through the turn. other then that time it will come on once in a while if its raining or snowing out. so, all in all its a nice thing to have, but i dont think its worth trying to install aftermarket because you just dont get that much use out of it.
