I just installed my turbo timer last week. I spliced into the 12V wire in my ignition harness for power to the TT. Now, while driving, the head unit turns off and then back on, usually when I push the clutch pedal down and idle to a stop. Other times, it just turns off while driving. At first the lights used to flicker and the tachometer needle would bounce on 1k, but that is no longer a problem. Now, it's just the head unit. Anyone?

Is it just your head unit having problems? Do your interior lights dim at all? Like Andason said if its random its probably a loose connection. On my old car (mx3) when I was coming to a stop my lights would dim and my tach would drop a bit and come back up, I can't remember the exact solution but from what I can remember doing "hyper ground" setup helps.
