Hey guys.....

quick question in regards to amp hookups. Whats the difference between using RCA's to amp as opposed the high-level inputs when hooking up interior speakers?

Rca's are feeding the raw signal to the amp. Giving you better sound quality.

High level inputs take the signal which the radio has already amplified with it's cheap onboard amplifier and then basically reduce the signal back to line level so the amp can reamplify it. All of the converting can really hurt the signal quality. The biggest problem happens when you turn up the radio too far and it starts distorting/clipping. The distorted/clipped signal is then fed into the amp, clipping can cause serious damage to speakers.
