Paycheck day on Friday
so i decided to treat my self to a new exhaust system i have always wanted the greddy SP and i hear People love theres. so i started to do research how much it cost and install and stuff like that and then called up this exhaust place and they said (dont do greddy) come in i can do the whole thing custom at 2.5 in (bigger then greddy 2.3) and a magnaflow exhaust. so i cant decide on which to get. then my friend said greddys are too ricey sound. go with magnaflow more deepness, better sound. other friend said go greddy because you wont pass emissions with magnaflow. so i don't know what to do. any sug? don't want ricey. P.S. I am Noob this stuff |

Tell you friend that different exhaust brands produce different sounds and performance results of different car makes/models.
My first exhaust was an UltraFlo with 2.25 piping. It did the job and was pretty deep. My current exhaust is some off-brand muffler called SPP. It does the job. I say get whatever you want. You won't notice that big of a difference in terms of performance gains and sound, especially with a low-end (economy) motor. |

I bought an Arospeed muffler.. Sounds Great but much volume. Does anyone know what I can do? I've considered swapping out the resonator but not sure with what.. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

well your friend is wrong, the greddy sp is not ricey sounding. its very deep and has a real bassy tone to it, almost domestic sounding not civic fart can at all. honestly I think for your situation it would be a cost issue. if your shop can do a full exhaust for cheaper than you can get the greddy go with that. the sound clips I've heard of the magnaflow have all been nice, actually quite similar to the greddy. so do whatever is cheapest is my advice.

What all are they including in that? Are you getting the high-flow cat also? If not, you should have them do that also why you are under there. I think it will run you about $150.
