What differences does the anniversary edition have compared to the normal Celica? I've only seen a couple of these on the road.

I don't think they have much difference. Maybe just the stock side skirts. And they are numbered. Maybe someone else knows more.

alright...here are the differences, at least ones that I have seen. I have different (gunmetal) badges all around the car. I have 2 limited edition badges above the front wheels, I have a strut brace, I have an emblem underneith the rearview mirror, I have different floormats, and I have a color scheme that can only be found in less than 100 different places.
Mine isn't an anniversary edition, it is a 1997 limited edition. ¤Chrí§¤ |

Anniversary and Limited Edition designations were basically a marketing gimmick. Not trying to be mean, just realistic.

mine also came with celica floor mats and seats that are multi-colored, and clear bumper lenses. I dunno, maybe there is more. It also has the celica dragon on both sides.

dont take this as me trying to be a smart ass but the Celica logo isn't a dragon, it's a Swan. I think the idea of the name was to describe the cars beauty and elegance with that of the bird, just thought you should know, Jon Didn't the anniversay edition come with Gold plated badges? |

well there is a web site about the celica symbol, and it says it is a dragon, so looks like they are wrong, or maybe you are wrong!

Mmmmmmmm!
May go with that, I understand Celica (Sel i Ka ) means heavenly/ celestial , don't know if its true or not and its been said that it also represents the name for a small pocket size warship, either way a dragon is more macho than a swan eh......, Jon |
