This is the first time I've had subs in a car... all I have to say is OH MY GOD, there is no going back. These things hit ridiculous hard, my ears just orgasm non-stop.

You mean subjectively? Yeah... mine dont seem THAT loud now.. but the SPL is a lot better (they break in?) and I know they're just as loud as ever (in my head)

I don't believe in breaking in subs myself......useless. Just don't push pass max excursion and your fine.
It's your ears....if you listen to a loud system everyday for a month, and then stop listening for 6months......listen to the same system and it will be twice as loud...... |

The W0s are old arent they? I have had my 12 JL W0s since I was 17...thats 4 yrs ago. They still hit just as hard as the day i got them.
My g/f just got 2 12'' Kicker Solo-Barics w/Phoenix Gold amp

You outta hear the W7 or W6 they are so crazy you cant even swollow. That base gets into your nose your chest. I have actually heard of people getting rid of them cause its just to much base. But Any JL are good nice choice. Have fun. And hell know theres no going back after you get a taste of that base.
