I know some of you guys have neons installed in your rides (footwells etc) but
has anyone experimented with EL (neon wire) to profile the interior lines of their
cars?

i did awhile back. i got a 15' blue neon wire and put it all around my dash. it started at the far right of the glovebox, went left, down, up around middle dash, left under steering column, around driver's a/c vent, up around the gauges, and back to the center dash. it looked pretty good, but the blue color that it glowed is not the same as the rest of my lights. Plus during summertime the superglue that held it on was coming off cuz it got too hot, lol. so i just took it off tongue.gif

I went ahead and rigged up 5' of the flexible neon tube and stuck it in the A/C vents nearest the doors. You can't see the tube and since my vents are white, it looks pretty sick at night.

I like that idea. However, I still wouldn't put neon on a GT-FOUR. It would be sacrilage as far as I am concerned.

In my opinion if you want neons keep them under the car and thats all not inside or anywhere else!
