Ok I have searched on this a few times with no results.. I have checked out a lot of pedal kits around my area, and they all have the same type of brackets as the kit I have. The way the accelerator pedal is set up on our cars makes it hard to use a normal U style bracket on an aftermarket pedal.
The problem is the way that the bottom part or the actual pedal part of it is not solid mounted onto the lever... it tilts in order for you to get good throttle control. Kinda hard to explain but everyone who has looked at our pedals will know what I'm talking about. Will get some pics when it stops raining outside! Can anyone who has either made up a new bracket, or got a pedal kit that fit straight up please post some pics / info on how they mounted this pedal? Thanks. |

hey Kamix, We both could be lucky here. I have the Autovation pedal kit that you drill into the existing pedals. You have to take off the rubber covers off the clutch and the brake to drill and the accelerator is just plastic so you can screw the pedals straight into it.
Im waiting for the delivery of my new car so I have taken off most of my aftermarket stuff on the celica to sell like strut bars, pedals etc. Email me or PM me if you are interested in the pedals. for information on the autovation pedals the website is:Autovation |
