well i'm not making any promisses.. but my mom is going to make me a new leather shift boot.. and while she is doing it .. she is going to make some prints for it.. so that i can practice and make my own later on.. if i can make it look as good as she makes her swing look.. i'll make them for people on this sit.

I do! I do! biggrin.gif
My "special friend", the same one whom drove my little red beauty into a fire hydrant, was using my on-deck cigarette lighter, anaware of the fact that it shoots out of the dash like a bullet when lit. Thus I now have a burn hole the size of a quarter in my shifter bootie...
If you do happen to master the art of shift-boot making, let me know, and I will send you my old one if you need to use the wire frame (the one that clips into the console). Gracias!

I want to put a new one on my Celi as it seems as if no one wants to buy it. Since it's an automatic it doesn't have one right now but is there a way to make and install one on it?

yea there is.. just need to take some measurements..
and you will nedd a rubber band to hold the top.. i tired this out with an aftermarket on my ST.. fist you flip it upside down.. then in iside out.. and work the small end over the shifter... and place it rubber band on the spot you want have the top of the boot... then fold the boot down and rap it around the shift block.. then put your trim back around and there you go..

If I bought and sent you the material could you make one for me?I want to use a clear silicone type material,so I can put a neon under the armrest which would light the shifter boot up at night.

Okay, I read this and decided I couldnt wait for someone else to do it, so i made my mum do it for me... lol, I took the old shift boot off and traces the templates, then she sewed them together and to the frame, looks very nice, took no more than 20 minutes. smile.gif im gonna have to get her to make me a shorter one though, for my short shifter... tongue.gif
