Well i was pissed that there are no altezzas for our cars so i bought an oem pair to attempt to make my own. I finally got them and i realized it was not gonna be an easy task. Instead i thought i would try to paint them to see whether i could get a design i like. The first result is this. What do you think? (keep in mind that my JDMs are 2 minutes from being put on back if everybody thinks that the painted ones are too rice.

Neoklis, please, hide these tails under the ground..... Dont drive with them, dont show anybody what you'v done biggrin.gif

j/k man smile.gif Personally i dont like them (but thats just my opinion)... You better try to remove the glass of them, and try to implement somthing insede (like some parts from other tails like RSX or RX8 tails pieces) after that put some clear clas on, and youll be set to go smile.gif

Well i dont really like them myself much. I am just experimenting until i get around to making them altezzas and since the lense will be in any case useless, well it wont matter if i paint them.

Personally though i believe the circles are much better than the oem design (granted that the two minutes it took me to do mine can be improved substantially)
I have to say that the design i had in mind was completely different but during the painting i changed my mind and resulted to this. I already have in mind a slightly different design that i may be doing during the weekend. Firstly i need to wash my car since i haven't done so for a month and its time for some wax also.

I'd like to see someone come up with altezzas. Sometimes I think they are okay, sometimes not. But everyone has them.

I dont like the afterburners because the circles are of the same size.
JDMs were on the car originally since my GT4 is a 98 JDM.
The altezzas will be the final result. I already have the plexiglass or whatever is called to put as a clear lense on the outside but i need to figure out what to do inside as i dont want to just paint it, but want them to be as much altezzas as possible. The paint on them now is to make me decide what shape the final product will have.

Next idea is to have smaller circles overlapping the large ones at the place where the reverse light is and the circle where the blinker is will be changed a little so that its not a full circle.
