How y'all change your tire w/ the side skirts? Do y'all remove the skirt everytime you need to change it? It looks like you can change the front tires w/o removing the skirts but the back (which i need off) the skirt covers up the sport the factory says to use to jack up. Just wondering if there is any other way. Thanks.

Well speaking for myself, my sideskirts are glued on. So I just have to put the jack somewhere else than the suggested spot.

By the time I finished the pass. side it was dark, stopped for dinner and a hair cut. But i'll get some full side shots w/ the whole body kit later. And the completed look. I'm suppose to get my paint next week, *crosses fingers* and hopefully have it all painted in two weeks.

Is that a picture of how not to do it..? I dont get it ur sideskirt is crushed.

Get a small jack and put it where the invader is highest, towards the rear.

I almost fcuk up like that myself. my repair guy was trying to jack it up and i noticed my sideskirts getting pressed while he was doing it and i managed to stop him at the nick of time. phew!

its a real hassle to repair sideskirts as f/g shop really prefer to sell complete kits than repair your damaged one so the always find excuses.

you can safely jack up the Celi from a lot of places. just find a nice thick looking position and put some piece of wood to avoid slipping and you are set.

I jack the car is 2 spots. Get a good jack and lift by the axel braces in the fronts and rears. This way both front/rear tires are lifted. No chance of ruining side skirts.

changing at home is not much of a worry. I can always take the sideskirt off. But i'm just wondering if i have a blow out on the side of the road in new orleans how long is it going to take to change the flat.

Back together.

UPDATE: Waiting for friends father to return so i can get my new color. My good friend's fiance is going to talk to her uncle which is a restoration guy to do my paint job for me. Then i'll be styling in a new shinning paint job.

If I have my paint job done and buy my invader hood before Sept. 18th I will be entering NOPI Nationals for my first car show, not hoping to win but to get alittle spotlight wink.gif biggrin.gif

i actually cut a strip off my sideskirts about 1.5" wide so they would clear the suggested jacking points. Now i have no problems with it and you cant tell the difference.
