i'm almost positive all clusters are the same. mine has the ABS light, but i have no ABS...which leads me to think they are just standard for all models/years...

it just wouldn't be cost effective for toyota to change something so minor for so many different applications...i'm gonna say they are all the same. smile.gif

ooohhh yeah. i think the 5sfe redlines a little higher than the 7afe. however, if you have an operating tach in your cluster, and you are wanting his for another reason, the tach will come out (2 screws on the back i think, and a plug), and your GT tach will go right in, and yes, it will function properly. i have the JDM tach in my celica, and it redlines at 7500, but it reads the RPMs normally. smile.gif.

ok, now its time for me to clear all the thing up. John, you are not right saing that all the cluster are the same. I thought so before i started to deal with cluster. I bought a cluster from 97 ST, myne is 95 ST. everything is the same, even the warning lights are in the same positions, BUT wiring for warning light is different, so now i have Engine check light go up then my fuel is low, and instead of Engine light the Battery light lits up..... And as i did more research, i found that even the same year and NOT the same modification cars hade different cluster.

The Tach and Speedo and Temp and Fuel will work property, even if you install the KM/h cluster or JDM cluster (180 km/h). it will work propertly, but the difference MAY be in warning lights.

I think the only differences would be between 94-95 and 96+ models. Toyota updated a few thing in 96 on these cars. I dont think the GT and ST guages are any different from 94-95 or 96-99

Exactly corect...

OBD1 and OBD 2 have different wiring... which would explain Doggy's case.

My cluster is 6200... my fuel cut is at 67xx...

If anything... the 7AFE will have a far higher redline than a 5SFE... simply because of the rod-stroke ratio of the engines...

Yep... I heard the Euro ST had fuel cut at 7K... as for the GT... is it a 5SFE GT, 3SFE, or 3SGE? I'm just curious about trim models in Europe...

As for OBD... OBD1 6th gens were 94 and 95 (mine's OBD1)... and OBD2 one's came about with the facelift in 96+
