hey
top fuel in japan turbo'ed a beam 6th celica about 4 years ago or maybe 5 at TAS i had article in old options mag i had .. forgot HP rating .. looked like they used 3sgte parts to turbo it of course.. |

They did it to a BEAMS Altezza I think. It's been posted about on here. I think someone even posted a picture once.

If you want a turbo get a 3s-gte duhh.. That stupid to turbo a beams, plus when not only your going to spend the same or more, then have to buy all the turbo stuff, for an engine thats made to be turboed...

turbo + vvti = gooddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd but then again the engine i belive to find out ias made for NA application's. |

what gives you that impression? FYI: VVT-i is like... computer controlled adjustable cam gears... in the Beams Redtop's case... only on the intake side. It wouldn't be *that* great... no better than a 3SGTE with adjustable cam gears... I'll be the one to admit...
