More JDM goodness for the 6th gen Celica. If you have or plan on installing harnesses in your celica, these are a must. I've seen roll bars/cages save lives. These are listed as being for the ST202 and ST205. They will most likely need to be ordered from Cusco Japan because Cusco USA does not keep these in stock. Expect 6-12 weeks from the date you place your until the time of delivery. (they will be ordered as people place their orders) The full amount of the cage is due when you place your order however shipping (if needed) can be billed once the cage arrives in our U.S. warehouse. (be sure to specify if you have a sunroof or not as it DOES matter) Acceptable forms of payment are: Check, Cash, Money Order, Bank Wire, and Credit Card. (sorry, no paypal)

For an additional $30 charge they can be ordered in red, white, yellow or titanium.)  8-pt  8-pt the 6-pt is the same without the / or _ bars in the rear. Can you show us some photos of the 4 pt., 6 pt., and 8 pt. cages? I doubt anyone is going to buy them without photos.

The catalog groups them together so I have no way of knowing if the rear two points will work without some modification. To be safe, if you have a coupe and you plan to order a cage, I would suggest to be prepared for some modification. |

i have 8 pt roll cage come with additional side bars. but i removed side bars. its not comfortable. 8 pt cage ll be the best desicion. but unfotunately you have to remove your rear seats
  mine is like this ( additional side bars is red)

the sparco harness bar that just came out, they dont make it for the celica but you can probly have a shop custom make one. i am thinking about doing it.

Any of them...they all have no provisions for racing harnesses, and using racing harnesses with these cages would be the same as using racing harnesses without a cage. Unless you custom-modify the cage to add a bar for the harness straps to go over. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

basicly these cages arnt for harnesses, just there for the body strength.

To clear things up, you should NEVER run harnesses without at least having a roll bar. It is extremely dangerous if you get into a roll over crash. Harnesses are best mounted to points on the car, NOT the roll cage or rollbar. I have mine mounted on the stock seatbelt points where the rear seats used to be.  So basically, you do NOT want a roll cage with a harness bar, it adds unneccesary weight and in many cases is not the best way to mount harnesses in your car. The only Cusco cage I know that has a harness bar is for the S2000 because it&s a convertable 2-seater. This post has been edited by roo: Aug 16, 2004 - 1:48 PM |

would a 4 point be able to be put in while still keeping seats, trim, etc ... and would it make that much of a difference in safety and any difference in cornering ?

NEVERSTOP - Shipping to where?
4-pts should be able to retain the rear seats and trim and make the car more rigid and safe. Chromoly is a little stonger and lighter than Steel. Shipping to Quebec, Canada would probable be around $160ish. |
