It was a crappy day for me today. Rainy out,got in an argument with my ***hole neighbor, have a huge headache...

Then I went to the bank to withdrawal some money to repay my dad for the new clutch I bought. I went through the drive-thru, and got too close to the raised concrete curb and scuffed my 17" Enkei RS6 rim. It ripped off the Enkei sticker, and completely anniliated 2 spokes... Now I'm spending more money on a new rim.

I guess the upside to this is that I will now have a 5th wheel for a spare incase I get a flat (which I'm not ruling out of the realm of possibilities..)

This day sucks...

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

But the more I have to spend repairing the clutch, and replacing messed up rims, that 3s swap will just be pushed farther and farther back... But you're right, I can't wait for that motor to be in my car!

Its a long story...but you asked so im venting!

I got this neighbor who has a terrible drinking problem.. Last Thanksgiving, I was driving me girl home and I ended up behind him on the road. He was drunk and I didn't want to deal with his stupidity, so I passed him. He ended up running me off the road and into the grass median. (no damage was sustained to my car) I didn't do much about it because by the time I got home, it was 1:30 AM and it appeared as if he wasn't home. (he may have been home and in bed or something, but I don't know for sure) Apparently the next day he left for Austrailia for a couple months and by the time he got back, it had kind of blown over. I still think I should have said something to him, but I ended up not.

Anyways, when he had gotten back home from the 2 month business trip, it seemed as if his drinking problem had grown exponentionally. I have witnessed this guy run into his own house, pass out in the middle of my street with his vehicle still running for over an hour and do many other stupid things. I told my parents what I have seen and the night he ran me off the road.

My mom, concerned for his well being, took it upon herself to personally talk to him. (My mom has driven him home countless times because he was too drunk. So she knows what type of a problem he has) She told him that I was worried for him and that he has ran me off the road. She expressed her (our) concern for him that evening.

the next day I saw him at the bar and grill that I work at and he taunted me continuously about how he "scares" me. He even took a drink in "dedication to me."

So after that day, I just stopped tlaking to him. I just ignore him when he's around me. I can't stand him anymore. If he can't acknowledge that someone is concerned for him, then I don't need to talk to him. And now he's started to catch on that I just ignore him.

So today, when I got home from my classes, I parked out in the street (he lives across the street from me). He was pulling a small trailer and was trying to back it up into his drive way. He couldn't make the turn with my car parked there. So he comes over and TELLS me to move my car. This is how the argument happened:
Dan: "Hey, move your car. I can't get my trailer in here with it in my way."
Me: "Sure, anything to keep my car safe from you"
Dan: "whats that supposed to mean"
Me: "I don't want my car to be around you while you're driving"
Dan: "What did I do to your car?"
Me:" You must have been too drunk to remember running me into the median on John Deere Road last fall"
Dan: "Bull****"
Me: "Don't play stupid, you apologized to my mom when she told you about the situation"
Dan:"She never mentioned to me about running you off the road, besides theres more to life than that precious car of yours"
Me:"Your life is a constant drunken galore of bull**** you can't make sense out of. Don't get all philosophical on me. You can't even acknowledge when someone expresses a concern for your well-being, so why are you here wasting my time?"
Dan: "you're just some punk teenager who "has it all figured out", eh? You don't know the first thing about me"
Me: "I'm just some punk teenager who unfortunately lives near you and has to witness the havoc you create in this peaceful neighborhood."

And thats how it went down... I might have said some things that were a little out of hand, but I just don't care anymore. He's a dick to me, and all I ever did was try to show a little concern for the man.. He's a waste of space if you ask me..

I tried to be nice. I could have come knocking on his door with a baseball bat after he ran me off the road. But I didnt'. Instead I was more worried about him. and look at what I get in return... Its why I don't talk to him anymore
