Celica totaled, stupid alien Options

This is the second time that I have had a celica wrecked by an illegal alien in two years. One top of my anger at having my car taken from me, they dont get in any trouble at all. This time it was like 7 mexicans in an s-10, and they ran a stop sign. The cop said that since they were illegal that he couldnt do any thing to them, unless he was a federal agent. So, they are illegal, have no liscense, registration, or insurance, and get off the hook. I'm glad that I have uninsured motorist in my insurance, but they will probably only give me ~3500 for it when I payed 5200 earlier this year. On top of that I have already paid for a C-One hood and front bumper, and the wreck busted out my projectors.

That really sucks. My dad got rear-ended in his 350z by a guy who was visiting the US but doesnt have a US license. So the cop just let him drive way.

Sometimes I think illegals have more rights than we do.

I would say, depending on how bad your car is, buy it back.. like if there is no frame damage.. an I know its a uni-body.. but then get the money back for your insur, say you pay 100-500 for it, then get around 4k from it.. then you have around $3500 to replace the body .. then some extra to put into it.. say a swap or somthing.. I bought my bimmer back for $70 bucks.. and the insur still gave me the $6500 from it as well, it wasnt worth fixing, but i did part it out for well over 1500, plus keeping my $2000 wheels... its at-least worth asking about ya know.


Also Why does it seem atleast every other week, some-one sells there celi, or wrecks it.. it seems like soon there arent going to be to many left.. but then again, it seems like theres a new member anytime that happens, as well as seeing so many new ones around my colleg.

Technically the police officer shouldve taken them in. illegal aliens in the united states get taken in for finger printing. once verification is taken that they are illegal they are deported to INS station where they get documented and released back to the nearest border. Somestime i wonder if being a illegal alien is better then being a citizen.

see over here, when we find illegal immigrants, we arrest them, and ship them back. i cant believe the cop just let them go. "visiting" persons need to abide by the rules and laws of the country they are staying in. At the very least, those people should have been arrested for not having a driver's license and insurance. if you really wanted to get anal, you probably could have gotten their information and sued them wherever they are from.

Also, neither me or the cop spoke Spanish. He told me that he didn't get any info out of them, so, I can't find them even if I wanted to sue.

Are you OK ?? if so, then everything will be fine. you will find another Celica and you will fix it up the way you wanted.

There is no possible way that cop let people go from an accident without a report. Ask for the report number and go from there. If they did not have proper documentation and I mean the truck information not any green card, then the driver should have been arrested. If the cop just let them go then you should go to the Police station and file a complaint against the idiot.. i mean the cop.

Just take everything valuable from the car(rims or whatever) and get a new 6gc with the insurance money. Someone hit my gt4 a few days ago and i am making money out of it.

My plans all depend on what the insurance will give me. I might have to wait a while. 6gcs are very dificult to find in my area. Especially since I want a 5spd, GT, liftback. That kind of narrows my choices. Oh, I'm fine. Thanks for being concerned.
