Well picked these up off ebay for like 95 bucks shipped.. figured maybe I can use them to eventually connect them with an additional bar to make them semi functional and use them to keep my harness straps even coming off the back of the seats.. lemme know what you guys think.. I'm gonna paint them a different color

it was you! lol. so ur using them to mount ur harness to? if they were like polished metal all shiny and stuff that would look nice. but. if u didnt want ur seat belts to be on the back of ur seats i would have got a piece of metal and did sumthing like this. step back from these chop skills. LMAO! I never saw that topic! thats funny... newayz the bars are surprisingly very heavy duty compared to what I though I would recieve. as for the suggestion you had about mounting them low like that.. that can actually kill you in a frontal collishion. the impact of the crash will pull down on the harness and crush your collar bones and potentially FAR worse. thats why you are suppused to mount them going straight back.. I currently have them going inbetween the upper and lower rear seat cushions.. if that makes ne sense to you guys. I plan on using these as a base for a bar to run horizontally across the back of the rear seats to make sure that the belts are evenly pulled back. BTW - Mad props on the PS skillz
no not really.. The seats make it kinda hard to get in and these run below the seat line so its not really ne different for me Im still undecided if I'm actually gonna use them or not... gonna repaint them to make em fit the car itself a little better and see what I think.. will take some better photos of em too -------------------- 99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =) |

hmm im a new member to this website and in my opinion i really don't like them. $95 is quite alot of money. well here's a suggestion strip down the white paint and leave it bare, use a metal polsiher paste (autosol) and see what the others think of them now. much like the honda s2k bars at the back of the seats.
