Meguiar's Cleaner Wax. Red bottle, 473 ML, is the absolute best wax I have ever used. I have Mothers, Turtle, all sorts of Carnuba from many leading company's, and other Meguiars Products (including the Tech stuff) but I push the Cleaner Wax more than anything. I picked mine up at Wal-Mart. It's in a maroon bottle. My 1995 with elbow grease and this wax:

Experiment though. But I love this wax to death. Pick yourself up a good applicator pad. Don't be spendy. You can get good ones for 1-2 bucks.

use Zymol Polish first, then Meguiars NXT GEN TechWax...make your car look like a black mirror. make sure you use applicator pads and polishing rags...dont use terry cloth towels on a black car...thats a No NO!

I use the Meguiar's NXT TechWax too. It comes off of the car very easily in comparison to most other waxes I've used, and it provides the best shine out of what I've tried. smile.gif

Why shouldn't you use terry cloths on a black car? I use terry's occasionally, but I mostly use microfiber cloths.

And for drying your car I do not recommend using any cloth-based materials. I highly recommend the Black Magic Chamois. Its 7 or 8 dollars at Wal-Mart and comes in a plastic protective case. I'm sure you can find other chamois for cheaper, but this is the only one I've had experience with and I am greatly satisfied with it. Just toss it on your car and pull off and it dries!
