Does the 7afe have a EGR valve I was told that since mine is a 5 speed that i do not have one but I need to know quick thanks

all usdm engines have an EGR valve.

who the hell told you that

yes you 7afe has an egr, all cars here in the states up to a certain year have egr's, theyre needed for emission control and having a 5sp or auto doesnt make a difference

Well the place I getting a head built needed to know. But they knew what kind of car and the year so shouldn't they know that all cars have one?

......hmmm i wouldnt trust a guy if he didnt know egrs belong on our cars or any usdm car ...seems...shady

is this really needed.

I popped a CEL for my EGR a while back. A good battery reset and the CEL was gone for good. I think its due to my intake, but some response would be nice.

if they dont have them its because the motors are jdm , lets put it this way if the car was bought here in the us it has an egr... if the motor came in a car other than the us it probably wont

There not really needed, Like the car will run perfectly fine without them, mine has been bad for 1/2 year. But they help control the amount of crap for emmisions your car produces.. I also heard somthing about when your check engine light comes on, your ecu , goes into some safe mode thing, so it wont run to full potental. and my light has been on for the egr system. I dont think that caused any um.. more slownes really
