Alright, so here's the dealy. .
In the effort to make my car much needing a makeover, the seats are the next step over the winter. I have black leather front seats, which are worn and ripped. The rear black seats are MINT. I wanted to keep the straight black. What do you all do ? Redoing the leather i'm told is over $400 . . which I think is a lot. 7th gen seats seems nice but are normally 2 tone, and very hard to find. I don't want racing seats, because that would look weird. So . . what do you all think ? (other than get racing seats, etc). Dr. |

I'm not sure, but I think it involves you giving me those MINT back seats.

A milk crate. No seriously. You could always save and get them reupholstered really nice in a vinyl color of your choice. I like the stock seats a lot. I'd love to stitch a Celica dragon in them and dye the middle or something.

You could do like this guy i seen last summer, he had no front seats. He sat in the back seat of his car to drive. He extended the steering wheel and relocated the peadels. Was kinda cool. The car was some kind of older hatch.

I've seen some 7th gen leather seats for $400. You might want to get those. Im in the process of getting my seats re-done. They are going to be done in cloth tho. |

I don't like the Celica's stock leather seats personally. I don't know what the seventh gen. leather seats are like, but I've seen some awesome black leather Honda seats. The leather seats in the Integra GS-R and in the RSX Type-S are both awesome, and could be made to fit with some custom work. Just an idea.

yeah, I almost picked up a set of seats from a 7th gen, , but for $200, not $500, thats insanely high.
My buddy can weld, so welding the 6th gen rails on another seat isn't an issue. I'll just try and find a nice set of honda one's or get them redone I guess . . . Dr. |
