Ok well I used a product caller nu glass to get the water spots off my windows and it looked good until tonight. Thats when the car lights hit it and I seen small scratches all over and OH MY GOD when I went to the gas station I could barley see there are so many scratches. Well it says on it will not scratch surface. I mean what can I do to get a new windsheild and if I have to buy how much am I looking at?

well Jason you got your glass so clean that you saw the imperfections. if you dive you car everyday and in the winter that is going to happen. as for the cost of the windsheild is 160-200 around me. i don't know how much it's going to be around you. you should call up as many shops as you can to get a price. But those scrathes are going to happen again.

Yeah Mac,I hear what ya saying. If I look close at my hood paintwork I have loads of fine hairline scratches, I eventually
traced it to the auto car wash cleaning rollers I used once
every 2 weeks.Since I stopped using it and rubbed the paintwork its been fine. Don't know if Jwalks windscreen
problem is a wear and tear thing though? Jwalk are your
scratches lined or swirls? and was the cloth used for anything previously?

YEA im not being mean but yall are not gettin the point here. This window is not that old its prob at the most 8 months old and I know what everyday wear and tear is and this was not there until I applied Nu Glass a product by Duragloss. AND yes it was applied as directed. My ? is that my friend told me some windows are cheap and not OEM standard and to contact my insurance company and ask them casue he has used the same stuff on his car and it did not scratch and I even used it on my side windows. Guess what? IT DID NTO SCRATCH! Im goign on the window is crappy and I will tell my insuracne company this and they should come replace it!

I used a clean tee shirt to wipe the stuff off with and I applied it with the buff pads I bought that day....they were brand new!
