does anyone have infinity 2 way 180W reference series speakers? are thhey any good caue im thinking of buying them ...i have $250 gift card to circuit city so its $99 per pair and i plan to change my speakers all around..i have 2 kenwood 10inch subs and a kenwood amp that will accompay those speakers.

i have them...theyre nice..i like the kappas better, but without an amp, i like these.

soo if i am gettin an amp and subs then its ok to get the reference insead of kappas? casue the kappas are like 180 a pair LOL |

If you're spending money on an amp and stuff.. then you really should get the kappas and not handicap your system |

The materials they're made out of are a LOT higher quality to begin with. Also, the kappa's have a better frequency response |

oh ok i c hmm well see how much money i have cause im gonna get them from circuit city and i have a budget of $250 and i want to get all 4 so if not shoudl i just go with the reference??? or get the apline?

Don't buy from circuit city; buy from little hole in the way stereo shops because you can talk down their price. |

yea i know or ebay cause its cheaper but the only reason im going to buy it at circuit city is cause its part of the mall i go to so the gift card for the mall (westfield) works at circuit city so i have $250 i can spend so i wanna use it to buy audio for my car |

Well, try buying parts that can't really be talked down at circuit city instead of speakers. Things like amps and head units can't be "talked down" as much as Speakers- although on my sub amp I talked my guy down a full 300 dollars |

the references are plenty good...better than the alpines even i have four in my car and i love them...sometimes if you wait they even put them on a buy one get one free type deal.
