About a month ago i got my windows tinted. there were some small bubbles in the lower corner of the driver's window; i showed it to the guy, and he couldn't fix it. he said that if it started to peal, bring it back and they will redo the whole window.

well, it started to peal, so i brung it back. i just went to pick up my car, and the guys there cut off the whole 1st seal between the window and the door! they didnt even ask me. i showed them and asked what was up with that, and they said that it was too hard, and that was why the tinting came off in the first place.

now, i dont know what to do. i mean, its not that big of a deal, but i wish that they could have asked me before they cut away the seal.

any thoughts? what should i do?

Mines is falling apart. The seal breaks into pieces. They should have asked tho. Have them buy you a new one or give you some kind of refund. Maybe even give you a discount towards your next purchase.

It sucks in the winter. My seals are bad and things frost over inside if I leave her out.

If they said it's too hard then they apparently don't know what they are doing. If it was me I would get them to buy a new one and to have it installed.

clearly they messed your stuff up without permission- if they do not agree to replace what they damaged without approval, take them to small claims court. Have your parents get involved. No business has the right to destroy anything of yours to "discover' where the problem came from and not compensate for the damage they have done if they did not have permission to do so...

EDIT- make sure you get the ball rolling quickly as well, you only have a small window of time to get a claim in if they did do somthing out of neglegence. Dont be polite about it either if they give you crap- they are excersizing horrible judgement as a business...
