I have a 95 gen6 celica, and the alarm randomly goes off. I have turned the ultrasonic senors downwards to see if they were picking something daft up but still no luck.
I heard there is a sensitivity switch near the steering coloumn, is it in on the gen6 celica. Any ideas would be great. |

I just had to take out my alarm system. If you've got the same thing, it's up under the driver's side dash. Look up under there for a bundle of wires with a 10v fuse. Take off the plastic cover of the underside of the dash. Now take off the black cover thats under that. Look at the air conditioning duct-work. The brain of the alarm is probably taped to the back of that, and there's a sensitivity control coming from it also. Your problem is somewhere in there.

the alarm "brain" or control unit is under the driver seat.
I have been having the same problem with my aftermarket one, the warning will triger randomly and it will page me about it, i think its the little kids in my naborhood doing to though, little bas-rds. -------------------- |

Mine is a uk one to complicate things, ive looked behind the dash on the drivers side, is it a thin rectangle silver looking thing. Any idea on how to change the sensitivity of the ulta sonics
