 Thinking About Offering a 2005 6GC.net Calendar, What do you guys think? |

Forkee brought up the idea of maybe having a 2005 6GC.net calendar, and I'm thinking of having one made with some awesome photos of peoples' cars from the site.
 I'd have to look into costs of getting them produced professionally here, but what do you guys think about it? -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

My housemate just put one together for 3si.org- he's using cafepress and it turns out to be about 17 dollars (I think) they're not that hard to make; max dpi is 300; it's just getting the high quality images.
It'd probably be best to hold a contest- submit images to someone that are high quality; and then have run offs; etc |

i would buy one. it would be neat to have everyones pictures in it somehow. maybe a picture of everyones cars in a black and white shadow under the box for the day? iv seen calenders that the area where someone would write in stuff for the day they have had designs in black and white. this is just a thought. the picture would be light enough to write over but just enough to see the picture.
this would also be a great fundraiser for the site... maybe if each calender cost 17 dollars to make, charge 20 each plus s&h. then the extra money goes to the site. |

I'm guessing if you did the car on each date thing it would be more than $17, but I like the calendar idea... I'd be down.

Well, I'd want to ship calendars by the 15th of December at the latest. And I think a car for each of the 365 days would be waaaaaay too much work. I was thinking of one high-quality, scenic, magazine-quality photo of a different sixth. gen. for each month of the year.

we could use the 10 featured rides + 2 more
