where they pay you a little money and for your meal/items and you go and evaluate the store and the service and everything then you type up a report and send it to the company

i mean you really cant make a livin off it, unless you like minimum wage, but i guess if you got free stuff, like going to see movie, free dinner and food, it might be worth it.

I'm not planning on making a living. I would just like to write about the BS teenagers go through with these types of industries.

Those type are employed by the store as loss prevention. Not a very effective use of man-power if you ask me.

I work at a movie theatre and we have mystery shoppers come through all the time. All they do is write up a sheet that says how our service and how clean our theatre is. Some of them even put their opinions about the movie they saw. We read them and laugh all the time!

I hear radio commercials for it all the time and they give a number to call. We dont know who they are when they come we just get the report later. They mostly are college students.

Alot of companies use internal ppl anyway i.e. a regonal manager from a region other than his/her own will be used as an evaluator for the next region and so on .... i know thats what its like for footlocker and alot of other large corporations anyway ....... also realize that the teen market is not usually a market that is specifically targeted because its not really the teens that make the purchase its the teens' parents..so advertisement is geared toward them to harvest the cannocal impulse buying that teens have but service is geared toward ppl that put up the purse

i've gotten e-mails about it before, but it seems like a jip the way some work
you have to pay to get in a list.
and the big corporations hire this company you paid toget in their list to servey w/e it may be.
they find locals from the list at random(or by description), and send them over and either reimburse, or give them an exact amount to spend

an awesome job would be one of those cruise critics. Get to stay on a cruise ship for 6-8weeks and live in luxury. & they know who you are so they would definitely treat you like royalty.

Secret shops! Our waiters' biggest fears. We get them a lot at Bob Evan's.
