I've read in this forum that the TRD springs are made by Eibach. Since the TRD springs are said to lower the car 1 to 1.5 inches, which Eibach spring is it, the Pro-Kit or Sportline? Thanks.

Popular wisdom says that the TRD spring only lower your car 1 inch. I can say without a doubt this is total BS. My car was lowered 1.75" all around. Looking at pics of my car against those with sportlines show they are almost identical in drop. As for being more expensive, it depends on where you get your TRD's... wink.gif

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Sounds to me like the TRD springs are more like the Eibach Sportlines, not the Pro-Kit. Anyway, are you happy with your drop? Looks like the front has more of a gap than the rear in your pics.

You are correct. They are more like the sportlines in terms of drop. I am happy with the drop. The front does have a bit more of a gap because thats the way it is stock. There is a 1/2" difference in gap in a stock car. The TRD's dropped the car 1.75" all around so the front still has a little bit of a gap. If you want something that looks even, you might want to try the Tein S-Techs. They drop the car .9" in the back and 1.4" in the front for a nice even look. You will actually get a little more of a drop than that once it settles. Also, they are cheaper and people seem to be happy with them.
